Strata management website design Perth: how we rebuilt the Abode Strata website.
Abode Strata had grown into one of Perth’s respected strata managers, but its first website no longer matched the business. We rebuilt it with a calm, minimalist design, new photography and a clear path for owners, investors, tenants and strata councils.
Abode Strata at a glance.
A strata manager that had outgrown its first website.
Abode Strata looks after residential and commercial strata properties for owners, investors, tenants and strata councils. The business started in 2004 as a small, Australian owned family company and has grown into a professional strata manager. By its own account it was the third company in Australia to be accredited under the Strata Manager Practice Standard.
Their first website was built for a smaller business. Since then the team has grown and the range of services has widened, and Abode wanted to be seen as a leading strata management provider. The old site no longer matched what they offered, or how well they did it. They asked us for a website that reflected the way the business works today.
The problem to solve
A strata website has an unusual job. Most visitors are not browsing. A council member is deciding whether to trust a new manager with a building. An owner needs a form or an answer. A tenant has something broken and needs the right number.
So the site had to do three things well: build trust quickly, make the common jobs easy to find, and sound like a manager you would be happy to call.
The new Abode Strata website.

What we did for Abode Strata.
Four pieces of work, built to fit together so the website, the photography and the message all say the same thing.
A calm design built around one main colour
Strata can be stressful for owners. Levies, repairs and disagreements are not fun to deal with. So the design is calm. We used a minimalist style with plenty of white space, one main colour with a few accent touches, and clean typefaces that are easy to read on a phone or a laptop.
A familiar but authoritative tone of voice
The words needed to sound like a manager you can trust, not a legal notice. We set a tone that is friendly and clear but still confident, so a first time owner and an experienced council member both feel looked after.
Photography that says Perth
Photography was part of the project. Strong local imagery sits behind the opening headline, so visitors know straight away that this is a Perth business that knows its patch.
A menu that matches why people visit
The menu puts the common jobs in plain view: about the team, learning resources, forms, emergency information, the owner portal and a free quote button. The phone number stays at the top of every page. We also handled digital marketing, so the look and message carry across to the places people find Abode online.
Four choices that shaped the site.
Good design is mostly a set of decisions. These are the ones that mattered most on this project.
Show proof early
Certification and award badges sit directly under the opening image. A council choosing a manager wants evidence before it reads anything else, so we put it where it cannot be missed.
One clear next step
A free quote button sits in the menu and on the opening screen. Someone ready to talk to a new manager never has to hunt for how to do it.
Forms and emergencies get their own space
The things people need in a hurry are not buried inside other pages. Forms and emergency information each have a place in the main menu.
Say less, say it clearly
We cut the page down to what people need and wrote it in plain English. Strata has enough jargon already.
One website, four very different visitors.
We wrote and arranged the site around what each group is trying to do.
Strata councils
Want to know what a manager will actually do, who they will deal with and whether the company is trusted. The site leads with accreditation, awards and a clear list of services.
Owners and investors
Want their property protected. The opening line of the site speaks to people who value their property investment, and the quote button is always close.
Tenants
Need to know who to contact when something goes wrong. Maintenance and emergency information are easy to reach from the menu.
People searching for a new manager
Often arrive from Google with a short question. The pages are written in plain language that answers it, so the site makes sense on the first visit.
What Abode has now.
A website is only useful if it does a job. Here is what the new site gives the business.
- ✓A website that looks and sounds like the business Abode has become, not the one it started as.
- ✓A clear route from the homepage to a free quote, with the phone number always visible.
- ✓One consistent look across the website, the photography and the marketing.
- ✓A calm, simple foundation that can grow as Abode adds services and pages.
We agree what success looks like at the start of every project, such as quote requests or phone calls, and set up tracking so you can see it after launch. Want the same for your business? Book a free call and we will talk through your goals.

Questions about this project.
What did Abode Strata ask Álom to do?
Abode Strata had grown its team and widened its services, and wanted to be seen as a leading strata management provider. They asked for a new website that reflected that, along with photography and digital marketing.
What makes a good strata management website?
It builds trust quickly, makes common jobs such as forms, emergency contacts and quotes easy to find, and uses plain language. Strata managers deal with owners, investors, tenants and councils, so the site has to work for all of them.
How would you design a website for a strata company in Perth?
We start with who visits and why. Then we build a calm layout, set a clear tone of voice, add proof such as accreditation and awards near the top, and keep one obvious next step, such as a free quote.
Did the project include photography?
Yes. Photography was part of the project, so the website uses strong local imagery rather than relying only on stock photos.
How long does a website like this take?
It depends on the number of pages and how quickly photography and content are ready. After the free call and before any work starts, you get a clear timeline.
Do you only work with strata managers?
No. Álom works with Perth businesses across many industries, including dental, fitness and hospitality. You can see more on our work page.
